PAINTING TIPS.
2: Always paint your models in a well ventilated place and ALWAYS
wear a dustmask and safety glasses.
3: Spray cans are very good to use, but always warm them first by
putting them in warm water before you use them.
4: Always apply a primer coat first spray on lightly, so you don't loose detail.
Hold the spray 6 inches from the model and lightly spray.
5: Start the spray can spraying before the start of the model, go from side to side
and don't stop till you have gone past the model, building up light coats
of primer as you go..
6: Let the primer dry out compleatly [till you can't get any more fumes off it!]
Same for the main paint coats.Always leave a good length of time
between each coat of paint..
Clear coat is the same as above ,you can also sand the clear coat
with fine wire wool or sandpaper ,
Very fine surface scratches will disappear like magic ! with the last coat of clear.
7: Small bits and pieces can be either taped or glued to small sticks
and then stuck in to a suitable material like aeroboard or the foam base
you can get for flowers

APPLYING DECALS..
Decals can make or break a model, they often have a excess clear bit around them
which dosn't look great when they dry but you can cut this off with a sharp knife before you
put the decal in the water to apply it .I always wet the model a bit first where the decal will be going.
Decals stick to shiny surfaces best. If you are applying decals to a model that is painted in flat
colors apply a coat of Gloss Coat then apply your decals. Once the decals have set apply a coat of Dull Coat;
Always remember if you have a lot of decals to put on the model , do a few at a time let them dry
then do a few more . do this till you finish .

A parts box [very important]

Paint [black ,red ,silver , etc humbrol model paint is good ]
Car touch up paint ,[black , red]
Spray paint [ car paint,, primer , matt black ,gloss black , clear coat]
Masking tape. [3mm]
Soldering iron.
Small set of screwdrivers
Surgical gloves.
A table vice.
A small vice grips.
A long and a short nose pliers .
A box of tooth picks.
A face mask. and safety glasses .[IMPORTANT]
Lots of patience !
